KCP - Our Emerging Leaders

The goal of the Emerging Leaders is to encourage young adults between the ages of 18-35 to become members of our noble order and to help with Christian service efforts that will serve the community. The Emerging Leaders brings a voice to the order, allowing the younger generation to be active participants while growing the order with younger members.

This year our main efforts are retention amoung the Emerging Leaders, growing the Emerging Leaders, and creating service projects unique to filling the needs of the marginalized, specifically, college students and those poverty stricken (homeless).

Our first major service project was in November 2017. The project included care packages to college students at colleges and universities in the area which the council or court is nearest too. For example, Unit 121 donated their baskets to University of Southern California and Loyola Marymount University.

Our next combined service project will be in Portland Oregon. Serving a homeless shelter in their area.

A few main service projects that are nationally based are The Founder’s Day service project (November), Anti-bullying, Sickle-cell awareness, and etc.

Our goal is to bring Charity to our community and the world through our Catholic faith.
